Denis Shunkin

Denis Shunkin has a strong background in software engineering and development. Denis is currently working as a Software Engineer at Katana Cloud Manufacturing since February 2021. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2020, they served as a Software Engineer at askRobin. In 2018, Denis worked as a Software Developer at Agrello. In 2017, they held the role of Senior Software Developer at askRobin. Before that, from 2015 to 2017, they worked at Bigbank as a Software Developer, where they focused on the development of frontend API, self-service, backend, and microservices. Denis integrated Composer, Phing, and SQL migrations into the frontend to improve CI and CD processes. Denis also provided API training sessions to other developers. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at MYJAR as a Software Developer, contributing to the development and support of CRM, payment collection module, payment gateways, and customer management module, among other responsibilities. Denis started their career at Titanium Systems OÜ in 2010 as a Software Developer, where they primarily worked on the development and support of the Car Rental Broker Management System (CRBMS) and white label product self-services frontend core framework. Denis also gained experience in frontend development, using technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, CVS, Git, JSONP, HTML, CSS, and XML, and following methodologies like Kanban and Scrum. Before that, from 2009 to 2010, Denis worked at ITBS as a Software Developer, focusing on the development of various e-commerce products and homepages. Denis also had experience working on projects related to the Estonian Maritime Administration. Denis began their career in 2008 as a Communication Specialist in the Defense Forces, and later that year, they worked as a Web Developer at ITBS. Throughout their career, Denis has acquired skills in various languages, tools, and technologies, including PHP, JavaScript, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Subversion, HTML, and CSS.

Denis Shunkin completed their advanced secondary education at Kallaste Keskkool from 1993 to 2005. Denis then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Networking, and Logic, graduating from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology in 2010.
