Margus Sumla

Margus Sumla has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Margus started their career as an IT Specialist at Telegrupp AS in 2017. Later, in 2018, they joined Tietoevry as a DevOps Engineer, where they worked until 2022. In 2019, Margus took on roles as an Assistant Lecturer and a Visiting Lecturer at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Currently, they work as a Site Reliability Engineer at Katana Cloud Manufacturing since November 2022.

Margus Sumla completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in IT systems administration from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology. Margus attended the university from 2015 to 2018. Following this, Margus pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering, specializing in Analysis and Design of Information Systems, at TalTech from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Margus obtained various certifications. Margus received the Preliminary Exam in Red Hat System Administration I from Red Hat in May 2022. In June 2020, they obtained the Linux Essentials v1.6 certification from Pearson VUE. Margus also holds certifications from VMware, including Data Center Virtualization Fundamentals [V6] acquired in July 2017 and VTSP Foundation obtained in May 2017. Furthermore, they received several certifications related to sales of Fujitsu Client Computing Devices, including Client Computing Devices Mobility Solution Sales, Fujitsu CCD Core Portfolio Sales, Fujitsu CCD Ultra Mobile Premium Sales, and Fujitsu Client Computing Devices Strategy Sales, all obtained in October 2017.
