Ula Iwanska

Ula Iwanska has extensive experience in talent management and building meaningful working environments. Ula has worked with various companies, including Katanox, where they currently serve as the Head of People on a part-time basis. At Katanox, Ula focuses on delivering "need-based" projects while also shaping long-term initiatives related to communication, culture, and hiring.

Prior to Katanox, Ula held roles such as Head of People, Start-up Advisor, and Coach/Mentor, where they worked with start-ups and scale-ups to build talent acquisition processes, establish recruitment channels, and develop company culture. Ula also contributed to people development, people operations infrastructure, compensation structures, and provided coaching and mentoring services.

Ula has experience in the healthcare industry as well, having served as the Head of Talent and Culture at Awell Health, a technology company that builds infrastructure for healthcare. Ula also worked as the Head of Talent and Culture at Nextail Labs, a retail technology company.

Other notable roles on Ula's work experience include Head of People-Spain at Deliveroo, Head of Talent and Culture at dommo.x, and Senior Talent Manager EMEA and APAC at Medallia.

Before entering the professional world, Ula worked as an HR Coordinator at University For All, where they designed and implemented recruitment and learning and development plans.

Ula Iwanska's education history begins in 1999, when they attended Jagiellonian University. Ula pursued a Master of Arts degree in Cultural Studies and completed their studies in 2004. In 2008, they enrolled in Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where they obtained a Master's degree in HR Management, which they completed in 2009. In 2014, Ula attended a program at Lou Adler, focusing on Performance-based hiring. Currently, in 2023, they are enrolled in Oracle ReinventaTech for a course in Oracle Global HR (Core HCM) Implementer, which they will complete this year.
