Rowland Yin

Rowland Yin has over 30 years of work experience in mechanical engineering. Rowland has worked at various companies including Kateeva, Oracle, Morgan Hill BioEnergy, KLA-Tencor, Genus, Igologics, Synaptics, LTX Credence, Pycon, and Hoya ConBio.

At Kateeva, Rowland worked as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where they designed and packaged electronics and fluid handling devices for OLED display equipment. Rowland also designed fixtures using various software tools.

At Oracle, Rowland served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, responsible for designing enterprise servers with various components such as PCBA blind mate connections, custom heat sinks, and enclosures. Rowland also worked on prototype and production EC processing.

Additionally, Rowland worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Morgan Hill BioEnergy, where they designed a dual-axis sun tracking algae farm and automated motion control systems.

Rowland also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer at KLA-Tencor, Genus, and Synaptics, where they worked on projects ranging from vacuum electron beam inspection tools to UHV subsystem design and consumer electronic products.

Earlier in their career, Rowland worked at LTX Credence, Pycon, and Hoya ConBio, contributing to the development of various products such as burn-in ovens, automated ZIF ovens, and medical laser equipment.

Throughout their career, Rowland has demonstrated expertise in design, analysis, prototyping, manufacturing release, and project management.

Rowland Yin's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, which they obtained between the years 1984 and 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University, which they completed from 1991 to 1995.
