Heidi Christensen

Heidi is a corporate communications and investor relations professional with over 25 years of diverse experience. She has worked for some of Canada's largest and most respected companies in many industries. She recently returned to her hometown of Calgary after six years of living and working in Toronto.

Heidi currently leads corporate communications for RSM Canada, an accounting firm member of RSM International, a global network of independent tax, audit and advisory firms. She is responsible for communications strategy in Canada, including internal communications, executive communications, and public and media relations.

Heidi is an active member of RSM's employee network groups, with a particular interest in promoting a better understanding and appreciation of different cultural perspectives and the contributions made by a diverse and inclusive workforce, as well as in the advancement of women by promoting advocacy, mentorship and professional development.

Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business Administration, both from the University of Calgary. During her studies, Heidi has focused on sustainability, with a particular interest in how Indigenous Knowledge (or Traditional Ecological Knowledge) can work in tandem with the sustainable development of Canada's oil and gas resources, and how sustainable business practices translate into shareholder value.
