In 2013, he worked as the Secretary-General of Eskişehir Turkic World Capital of Culture Agency. He served as the Aegean Representative of Turkuvaz Media in 2013-2015. He was elected as İzmir Deputy in the 25th and 26th terms. He served as a member of the National Defense Commission and the Security and Intelligence Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and the Chairman of the Turkey-Afghanistan Parliamentary Friendship Group.
