Amanda Segal is a prominent legal professional with extensive experience in distressed debt and claims trading. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of Distressed Debt and Claims Trading at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP since January 2018, Amanda represents broker-dealers, investment funds, and financial institutions in the acquisition and sale of distressed assets. Previous roles include Counsel at Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP (September 2007 - December 2017), focusing on distressed debt, and Associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP (September 2004 - August 2007), specializing in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy.
