Ben Phillips is a CPA, CISA, CITP, CCSFP, and CHQP with extensive work experience in the accounting and auditing field. Ben currently works as a Director at Katz, Sapper & Miller since January 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager at Crowe from July 2017 to December 2019. Before joining Crowe, they worked as a Manager at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP from August 2012 to July 2017. In 2015, they had an international secondment at Baker Tilly International. Their early career includes a role as Staff / In-Charge at Katz, Sapper & Miller from January 2011 to August 2012. Through these positions, Ben Phillips has gained valuable experience in various aspects of accounting, auditing, and managerial roles.

After completing high school at West Lafayette Jr/Sr High School in 2005, they further pursued their education and obtained certifications in various fields.

In 2014, Ben became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through NASBA. Ben later obtained the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) certification from the AICPA in January 2016 and the Certified Information Services Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in November 2016.

In recent years, Ben has expanded their knowledge and expertise by obtaining additional certifications. Ben received the Certified CSF Practitioner certification from HITRUST in April 2023 and the Certified HITRUST Quality Professional (CHQP) certification in May 2023.

Furthermore, Ben has also pursued further education in their free time. Ben engaged in hobby education at freeCodeCamp in 2018, broadening their skills and knowledge in a supplementary field.
