Mario Ruiz

Mario Ruiz is a co-founder and managing partner at Infinity Ventures, an early-stage venture firm established in 2021 that focuses on fintech infrastructure and commerce enablement. As a Kauffman Fellow in Class 27, Mario engages in a two-year program aimed at developing leadership and networking skills for venture capitalists. Previously, as principal at PayPal Ventures from 2019 to 2021, Mario led initiatives like the Economic Opportunity Fund, which supported Black and Latinx venture capital fund managers. Mario's investment career began at Napier Park Global Capital, focusing on fintech growth equity, following experience as an investment banking analyst and associate at Barclays, specializing in M&A within financial institutions. Mario holds a BBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College and an MBA from Yale School of Management.
