Miriam Rivera has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Miriam is the CEO, Co-Founder, and Managing Director of Ulu Ventures, a seed stage venture firm focused on enterprise IT. Miriam co-founded Ulu Ventures with a focus on generating great financial results using a disciplined decision-making process. Miriam's earlier experience includes working at Google as the Vice President/Deputy General Counsel, where they led legal teams in various areas.

Miriam Rivera began their education at Stanford University in 1982, where they pursued a degree in Sociology. Miriam completed their undergraduate studies in 1986, earning an AB degree. Miriam then continued their education at Stanford University, graduating in 1989 with an AM degree in Spanish, focusing on Latin American/Caribbean Literature. In 1991, they enrolled in both Stanford Law School and Stanford University Graduate School of Business, completing their studies in 1995. During this period, they obtained a JD degree from Stanford Law School and an MBA degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In 2010, Miriam Rivera furthered their education by attending Kauffman Fellows, where they completed a fellowship in Venture Capital from 2010 to 2012.
