Ian Goldberger

Director, Transaction Advisory, Business Consulting Services at Kaufman, Rossin & Co.

Ian Goldberger is a director of transaction advisory in the Business Consulting Services (BCS) practice and helps lead the firm’s Transaction Advisory practice. Ian advises companies through capital raise and merger and acquisition initiatives including strategic planning, financial modeling, business plan preparation, financial and operational due diligence and post-deal integration planning and execution. Ian and the BCS team also work hand-in-hand with companies through financial complexities, as well as optimizing operational performance to improve profit margins and overall bottom-line earnings.

Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin in 2016, Ian was a key member of a national medical group’s internal business development team, tasked with sourcing and executing strategic physician practice acquisitions. He has supported all aspects of the transaction process, including sourcing; analyzing transaction structures; conducting and coordinating financial, operational and legal due diligence; developing financial valuation models, forecasts and budgets; and planning and executing post-close integration. During his tenure, he participated on deal teams with acquisitions totaling more than $550 million. Ian serves clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and real estate.

Ian also worked with a Big Four accounting firm where he performed year-end audits, quarterly reviews, SOX control testing and analytical procedures for large public and private sector entities. In addition, he was a member of a team tasked with preparing an S-1 filing for initial public offering purposes.

He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.
