Matthew Wahler

Matthew Wahler is a principal in Kaufman Rossin’s tax advisory services department. He provides tax compliance, advisory and consulting services for estates, trusts, tax-exempt organizations and high-net-worth individuals.

Matthew has extensive experience advising individuals, families and fiduciaries on tax and administration matters for estates and trusts, and expertise with planning for individual retirement accounts and public and private charities. Matthew is one of the leaders in the firm’s private client group, which focuses on integrating services throughout the firm to meet the sophisticated needs of high-net-worth individuals.

Before joining Kaufman Rossin in 2013, Matthew worked for a Big Four firm in the financial services tax department. He primarily assisted clients with private equity and hedge fund compliance.

Matthew is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in business administration from Baruch College in New York City. Wahler participated in the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute, co-chairs ADL Florida’s Education Committee, and is the acting treasurer for Steps 2 Walk.
