Julian Guldborg Birkemose

Julian Guldborg Birkemose has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julian Guldborg is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Kaunt and Enversion A/S since May 2021 and also holds the position of Information Engineer in both companies. Prior to this, Julian worked as a student employee at Teledi@log - Project where they focused on requirements specifications and web services development. Julian Guldborg also gained experience as an M.Sc. student at Aalborg University from 2008 to 2013. In addition, Julian served as a supporter at Sygehus Lillebælt and as a technician and student employee at ScanSleep, where they performed PSG and MSLT. Julian Guldborg also held a position of Vice President of the Tenant Committee and IT Responsible at Sauers Kollegiet from 2010 to 2012. Julian’s work experience also includes serving as a medic at the Royal Danish Air Force where they were responsible for medical care at Combat Support Wing SQN 691 and served as a lead medic on HDMS VÆDDEREN. Julian Guldborg also completed military service basic training during their time at the air force.

Julian Guldborg Birkemose obtained a Highschool (HTx) degree in Informationsteknologi from Odense Tekniske Gymnasium in 2003-2006. Julian Guldborg then pursued further education at Aalborg University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering and Informatics from 2008 to 2011. Julian continued their studies at Aalborg University and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering and Informatics from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Julian has also obtained several certifications from Microsoft. Julian Guldborg obtained the MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 certification in October 2016, followed by the MCSE: Data Management and Analytics certification in the same month and year. Julian also earned the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification in September 2013, and later the MCSE: Business Intelligence certification in October 2016.
