Anni Suomalainen

Anni Suomalainen has a diverse work experience in the fields of construction management, rail systems, transportation planning, and engineering. Anni is currently serving as the Head of Construction Management Service at Kaupunkiliikenne Oy since October 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Sitowise, including head of the Rail Systems Department, deputy head, rail systems specialist, and transportation and mobility specialist. Anni also worked as a transit planner at Helsinki Region Transport from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a student liaison at The Finnish Association of Graduate Engineers TEK and as a summer trainee at Espoon kaupunki. Anni started their career as a trainee at NCC Roads Oy in 2009, where they worked for two years.

Anni Suomalainen completed their Master of Engineering from Aalto University in the field of Transportation and Highway Engineering. Anni attended the university from 2008 to 2014.
