Barry McTavish

Barry McTavish has a strong work experience background, with a focus on the automotive industry. Barry most recently served as the Global Director of Program Management, Advanced Manufacturing, and Engineering at Kautex Textron since November 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director at Kautex Unipart Ltd from October 2016 to November 2019. McTavish also has experience working at Kautex Textron as the Director of Customer Quality Business Unit 3 from February 2015 to October 2016. Barry also held positions such as Operations Manager and Quality Manager at Kautex Textron from 2011 to 2015. Before joining Kautex Textron, McTavish worked as a Quality Manager and Project Manager & Engineer at Rosti Technical Plastics from 2006 to 2011 and as a Quality Engineer at Methode Electronics from 2005 to 2006. Barry began their career in the production department at NEC, serving as a Production Operator and Production Technician from 2000 to 2002.

Barry McTavish holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Strathclyde. Barry has also obtained a Microsoft Project Certification from GFU Cyrus AG in 2021.
