Juan Carlos Cando

Juan Carlos Cando has a diverse work experience across various companies. Juan Carlos started their career in 2006 with an internship at SEAT, S.A. In 2012, they worked as an intern in the powertrain department at Applus IDIADA. From there, they joined Kautex Textron in 2014 as a Manufacturing Engineer. Juan Carlos then worked their way up in the company, taking on roles such as Production Manager and Project Manager. Juan Carlos also served as the Technology Manager for Spain, where they led maintenance, continuous improvement, and cost reduction projects. In 2021, they became the Director of Operations for Kautex Hengoed CVS UK factory. Juan Carlos later became the Manager Focus Factory Detroit before transitioning into their current role as the Director of Manufacturing Technology.

Juan Carlos Cando received a Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) in Automotive from Monlau Formación Profesional from 2005 to 2007. Juan Carlos then pursued a degree in Ingeniero Técnico Industrial especialidad en Mecánica (Mechanical Engineer) from UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) from 2007 to 2010. Juan Carlos continued their education at UPC School from 2010 to 2012, earning a degree in Industrial Engineer. Juan Carlos further specialized in Industrial Engineering (Automotive) at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2012 to 2013. Juan Carlos obtained a Green Belt Six Sigma certification from Textron University in 2015-2016. Lastly, they participated in the Mechatronics Training Program at Technische Universität Graz from 2019 to 2020.
