Jorge Arruego

Jorge Arruego has a comprehensive work experience starting in 1998 and spanning multiple industries. Jorge began their career with Torraspapel, where they underwent training during the summer while pursuing their university degree. In 1999, they engaged in hands-on training at Uni��n Industrial Papelera S.A. Following this, Arruego joined Guarro Casas in 2000 and served as the Internal Raw Material Responsible. In 2002, they transitioned to Saica Paper, where they held various positions such as Process Engineer, PM-11 production crew training responsible, PM-11 Superintendent, and eventually became the Production Manager. Arruego's most recent experience is with DS Smith, starting in 2018. Jorge initially served as a Technical Manager before progressing to Manufacturing Manager Europe. Jorge then assumed the role of Senior Technology & Manufacturing Manager and is presently positioned as the Technology & Manufacturing Director.

Jorge Arruego has a diverse education history. Jorge obtained a Global Leadership Program certification from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2021. In 2000, they completed a postgraduate program in Environment Engineering at Universidad de Zaragoza. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer Bachelor Degree in Paper Manufacturing from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 1999.
