Balam Carrasco

Balam Carrasco's work experience includes a role as the Director of Global Operations Strategy at Kavak.com since June 2021, and previously as the Head of Strategy & Planning from January 2020 to May 2021. Prior to this, they were the Head of Operations at Apli from July 2019 to December 2019. Balam also worked at Uber, starting as an Operations Coordinator from January 2015 to March 2016, then as an Operations Manager from April 2016 to November 2016, and finally as a Regional Operations Manager from December 2016 to July 2017. Before joining Uber, they worked as a Business Analyst at Barlovento Consultores in 2014 and as a Project Analyst at alatec ingenieros consultores from May 2013 to April 2014.

Balam Carrasco received a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México in 2013. Later, Carrasco pursued a Master of Engineering in Operations Research at Cornell University from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Carrasco completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2018 to 2019.
