Baran Tabur

Baran Tabur has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career at RSV Pools, Inc. in 2013 as a Lifeguard. In 2015, they worked as a Cooperative Education Student at TUSAş - Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii A.Ş./Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI), and the following year, they returned to the same company as an Electrical Engineering Intern.

In 2017, Baran Tabur joined McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst, before transitioning to Philip Morris International in 2019. There, they held various roles such as Strategy and Planning Analyst, Project Portfolio Management Leader, and Strategy and Performance Delivery Analyst.

Currently, Baran Tabur is working at Kavak.com, where they have taken on increasing responsibilities. They started as a Strategy Manager in September 2021, then became the Head of Strategy and Performance from October 2022 to October 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Strategy & Performance & Experience, starting from October 2023.

Baran Tabur earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering - Aerodynamics from Middle East Technical University from 2012 to 2017. They also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Anadolu University from 2013 to 2017. Baran then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Management from Middle East Technical University from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Python for Data Science certificate from edX and a Master Your Negotiation Skills certificate from Udemy.
