Melissa D. Elliott, LCSW-R, SIFI, CPC, CCTP is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical social work, coaching, and education. Currently serving as a board member at the Association of Nonprofit Specialists and an organizational consultant for the Red Hook Initiative and KINGS AGAINST VIOLENCE INITIATIVE INC, Melissa also founded and leads AGAPE Family Therapy and Coaching, specializing in mental health services for individuals and families. Additionally, as an adjunct professor at New York University, Melissa develops educational goals for BSW students. With a background that includes leadership roles at Grace Institute and expertise in anti-racist initiatives and diversity training through MDL Coaching and Consulting, Melissa is committed to promoting mental wellness, education, and professional development. Melissa holds a Master of Social Work from New York University and is pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Capella University, alongside ongoing education in small business operations at Babson College.
