Achim. Schier

Achim Schier possesses extensive experience in technical product compliance, environmental management, and sensor technology development. Currently serving at HARTING since March 2019, Achim focuses on securing global market access for products. With a long-standing role at Kavlico GmbH, Achim has managed thin film pressure sensor design and production qualification, while also holding responsibilities in environmental protection and health and safety. Previous positions include environmental manager and quality manager at UMS, production manager at Semikron, and process engineer at IXYS Semiconductor, complemented by a foundational scientific role at the Institute for Microtechnology at TU Braunschweig. Achim's educational background includes a diploma in mechanical engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and certifications in environmental and quality management from TUEV Nord and ILS Fernschule Hamburg.
