Katerina Meassick is a dedicated medical professional currently serving as a member of the Research Committee at the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine since February 2022 and as a resident doctor at Kaweah Health since May 2022. Katerina completed a residency in emergency medicine from June 2021 to May 2022 and earned a Doctorate in Medicine from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2021. Prior research experience includes leading a Seasonal Acute Respiratory Illness study at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and conducting genetic research on blastomycosis. Katerina also holds a degree in Neurobiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where involvement in promoting diversity in the community was demonstrated through leadership roles.
