Raya Buensuceso

Raya Buensuceso has a diverse work experience that spans across several industries. Raya is currently the Managing Director at Kaya Founders, where they have been involved in building the foundations of the company. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Analyst at Polestrom, focusing on project development and management in various sectors. Raya also worked as a Consultant at ALMEC Corporation, where they contributed to a report on traffic management in Metro Manila. Raya gained research experience as a Research Fellow at the Milken Institute, where they co-authored a white paper on land value capture. Additionally, they have interned at Uber, Princeton University - Woodrow Wilson School, and Grameen Foundation.

Raya Buensuceso attended Brent International School Manila from 1999 to 2013, where they earned their IB Diploma. From 2013 to 2017, they studied at Princeton University, graduating with an A.B. in Economics (cum laude), with minors in Political Economy and Urban Studies. In 2014, they participated in an Advanced Spanish Language and Culture program at Fundación José Ortega y Gasset, and in 2016, they briefly studied Economics at Università Bocconi.
