Gabriel Pelaez

Gabriel Pelaez started their career as a Software Engineer at SCL Elements Inc. in September 2009 and worked there until March 2011. Gabriel then joined KAYAK in 2011 and held various roles, including Software Engineer, Software Engineer Team Lead, Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and VP Technology. During their time at KAYAK, they led the development of mobile platforms, desktop UI, internal data visualization tools, and internal programmatic marketing tools. Gabriel also coordinated the migration of momondo paid traffic and the UI integration of momondo. Gabriel played a significant role in growing the engineering team and fostering office culture in the German office.

Gabriel Pelaez completed their Executive MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from UMass Boston between 2005 and 2009.
