Lauren McIntire has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Lauren began their career as an Associate Tutor at Aristotle Circle in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Correll Lab (University of Colorado, Boulder), where they developed software for embedded sensors using I2C and C, and researched and developed manufacturing methods for novel interfaces and sensors. In 2016, they were an Engineering Intern at UCAR - The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, where they assisted in the development of an FTIR spectrometer to measure the solar corona during the 2017 solar eclipse, and wrote the controls for the system in LabView. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer Associate and Software Engineer Internship. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Embedded Engineer at Kelvin Inc., and from 2020 to 2021, they were an Embedded Software Engineer I at Cardinal Peak. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Kayhan Space.
Lauren McIntire graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering Sciences.
