Megan Saunders

Megan Saunders is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director of ESG at Kayne Anderson, Megan leads the firm's ESG initiatives related to private equity real estate, including diverse asset classes such as student and senior housing. Previous roles include Director of Sustainability at Lendlease, where Megan implemented decarbonization strategies for military and privatized lodging portfolios, and National Commercial Account Lead at IncentiFind, focusing on tax incentives for green buildings. Additional experience encompasses sustainability project management roles at PBK and Vidaris, as well as founding Executive Director positions at the Stamford 2030 District. Megan holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University and has completed various certifications in sustainable design and HVAC.
