Timur Bakhytzhanov

Timur Bakhytzhanov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Timur began their career in 2011 as an Accountant's assistant at the Corporate Development Center of the Branch of Kazakhmys Services Limited in RoK. Timur then moved to the Branch of Kazakhmys Services Limited in RoK, where they worked as an Accountant's assistant from February 2012 to March 2012. In 2012, they joined Kazakhmys Corporation as a Project Administrator in the IT Department, a position they held until February 2014. Timur then became a Lead specialist of control of works and services purchases section of Control and Audit Division at Kazakhmys Corporation from February 2014 to September 2014. From September 2014 to February 2016, they served as the Chief specialist of the control of works and services purchases section. Timur then took on the role of Head of control of works and services procurement section of Control and Audit Department from February 2016 to September 2016 at Kazakhmys Corporation. In 2016, Timur joined KAZ Minerals and held various roles including Lead specialist of strategic purchases and price optimization division from September 2016 to May 2018, Head of Internal Control Division of Procurement Department from May 2018 to June 2021, and currently as the Head of Procurement Support Division.

Timur Bakhytzhanov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in 2011. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from The Lean Six Sigma Company and Certified International Procurement Professional from LEORON Institute in 2018.
