Marc Baetens

Marc Baetens possesses extensive experience in the metallurgy and operations sectors, with a career spanning over three decades. Since January 2001, Marc has held multiple leadership positions at ArcelorMittal, including Support Manager and Production Manager for the Coke Plant, as well as Operations Research Specialist. Prior to this, Marc worked as an IT Consultant at Cap Gemini from March 1998 to December 2000, and served as a Scientific Researcher in Metallurgy at Universiteit Gent between December 1994 and February 1998. Marc began their career as an R&D Engineer at Ferromatrix from September 1991 to November 1994. Marc holds a degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Metallurgy, from Ghent University, and completed secondary education in Latin-Mathematics at Heilig Maagd College Dendermonde.
