Yerbol Abutaliyev

Yerbol Abutilyev has extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors, currently serving as Plant Operations Manager at KAZ Minerals since December 2017, after having held the position of Concentrator Operations Superintendent. Prior roles include Commissioning Supervisor at Kazakhmys Projects B.V. and Senior Process Engineer at Fluor. Abutilyev began the career as a Process Engineer at KATCO JV LLP and WorleyParsons. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and an Engineer-Expert degree in Exploration and evaluation of Mineral resources from Kazakh National Technical University and Institut national polytechnique de Lorraine, respectively.
