The board of directors at KB Home have a lot of experience in the restaurant industry. The current CEO, Steve Ells, used to be the CEO at Chipotle Mexican Grill and before that he was the CEO at Taco Bell. The president, Brendan Fields, used to be the General Manager- Pizza Hut USA at Yum! Brands. Both Ells and Fields went to The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and studied finance and strategy.
