Peter Marcinek

Peter Marcinek has extensive work experience in the field of IT security and audit. Peter started their career as an IT auditor at PwC, where they focused on systems and processes audit, IT general controls review and audit, and segregation of duties compliance audit. After that, they joined Poštová banka as an IT Security professional, where they were responsible for risk analysis of banking IT systems and development of internal IT security regulations. Peter then moved to AIG, where they worked as an IT Senior Auditor and later as an IT Audit Manager. In these roles, they focused on IT auditing and risk management. Currently, Peter is the Chief Information and IT Security Officer at Komercni pojistovna, where they oversee information and IT security. Peter has also served as the Interim Head of Risk Management at the same company.

Peter Marcinek completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, and Investments from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave from 2007 to 2009. Peter then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Canterbury Christ Church University from 2009 to 2010.
