Filip de Block

Filip De Block has extensive experience in portfolio management and investment strategy, currently serving as a Quantitative Equity Fund Manager and Portfolio Manager at KBC Asset Management since 2013, following a previous role as an Application Engineer at the same firm from 2010 to 2013. Prior to this, Filip held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at ABN-Amro Private Banking Belgium from 2006 to 2009, managing top global Belgian equities and Vlam21 funds. Filip began the finance career as a Financial Analyst at Bank Corluy Effectenbankiers N.V. from 1999 to 2005. Academically, Filip has pursued advanced finance education, holding CFA and CAIA certifications obtained between 2012 and 2014, along with an FRM certification acquired in 2016.
