Michael J Nold

Michael J Nold has a strong background in biological mass spectrometry, with a focus on protein analysis and characterization. Michael J has 31 years of experience in this field and has worked on various biomolecules, from model compounds to whole proteome analysis. At KBI Biopharma, they have served as the Senior Director and previously the Director of the Mass Spectrometry Core Facility. Michael J'swork at KBI has focused on the characterization of mAbs, biosimilars, fusion proteins, and protein vaccines. Michael J has developed methods such as Multi Attribute Monitoring (MAM) to support analytical development and manufacturing of drug products. Prior to KBI, they were the Proteomics Group Leader at Waters Corporation and a Research Mass Spectrometrist at Research Triangle Institute. Michael J also worked as a Research Associate at the Mass Spectrometry Facility at NCSU.

Michael J Nold attended the University of Akron College of Arts & Sciences from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry.
