Robert Francis

Robert (Bob) Francis has a strong background in engineering and project management within the biopharmaceutical industry. Robert (Bob) most recently worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at KBI Biopharma, starting in 2013. Prior to that, they held positions at Emergent BioSolutions, Lonza, MedImmune, Human Genome Sciences, Cougar Engineering, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S, Affiliated Engineers, Jacobs Sverdrup, and Emerson Electric Co. Bob has experience in managing and overseeing facility construction and commissioning, capital project management, and utility engineering. Robert (Bob) has also provided project management and support for bio-pharmaceutical production, laboratory, and administration spaces. Bob Francis earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, starting in 1982 and completing in 1987. Robert (Bob) then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, graduating between 1987 and 1989. In addition to their formal education, Bob obtained various certifications such as OSHA 30 Hour in 2013, LEED AP from USGBC, and Registered Engineer licenses from the states of Missouri, Wisconsin, and Maryland. Robert (Bob) also holds a Project Management Certificate from North Carolina State University and is a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute.
