Peyton Scherschel

Peyton Scherschel is an experienced software engineer currently serving as an Affiliate Engineer and Platform Engineer at ProtectWise, Inc., following its acquisition by Verizon since June 2021. Prior to this role, Peyton worked as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant and Building Manager at the Colorado School of Mines from April 2019 to May 2021, where responsibilities included managing employees and membership data at the Rec Center. Peyton has also held positions as a Product Development Intern at ProtectWise during the summer of 2020, a Level 2 Swim Instructor at SwimLabs Swim School from October 2018 to June 2020, and a Field Session Intern at EverSleep, developing a corporate wellness portal. Earlier experience includes working as an Omni Team Member at Kohl's and a Crew Member at SONIC Drive-In. Peyton earned a degree from the Colorado School of Mines, completing studies in 2021.
