Syed Ashhad Ali

Syed Ashhad Ali is a seasoned Principal Mechanical Engineer at KBR, Inc. since October 2018, leading an EPC project for the development of an Offshore Platform in the Caspian Sea. Ashhad has extensive experience across various engineering roles, including Mechanical Engineer for the Marjan Development Program at ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia and Lead Mechanical Engineer for an Offshore Substation Platform project in Germany, among others. Previously, Ashhad held positions at the American Bureau of Shipping, where responsibilities included engineering design verification for offshore projects, as well as a Senior Mechanical Engineer role at KBR, focusing on equipment requisitioning and project engineering. Earlier experience includes mechanical engineering roles at Doosan Power Systems and ENAR Petrotech Service Pvt. Ltd., contributing to power generation and oil and gas projects. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Combustion & Energy from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
