Carole Thomas

Carole Thomas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several healthcare organizations. Carole currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at KC CARE Health Center since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Netsmart Technologies as a Senior Clinical Solutions Consultant from May 2016 to January 2022. Carole also served as a Senior Manager of Clinical Implementations at Cerner Corporation (formerly Siemens Medical Solutions) from February 2015 to May 2015, following the acquisition of Siemens Healthcare by Cerner. Before that, they were the Practice Director for Soarian Clinical Software & Implementation Services at Siemens Healthcare from November 2007 to May 2015. Carole also worked as a Nurse Consultant at Dalerea Corporation from September 2006 to November 2007, and as the Director of Clinical Informatics at Truman Medical Centers from September 2004 to September 2006. Carole's earlier experience includes roles such as Solution Design Consultant at Cerner Corporation from August 2000 to September 2004, Clinical Coordinator at Prime Health Medical Group from September 1998 to October 1999, and Director of Nursing at Bishop Spencer Place from August 1996 to September 1998.

Carole Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature from Avila University from 1979 to 1981. In 1990-1992, they attended St. Luke's College of Nursing Kansas City and obtained a Nursing Diploma in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Additionally, Carole received a Certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from National American University-Independence during 1998-1999.
