Ole Maier

Ole Maier is an experienced professional in the drilling industry, currently serving as President of Offshore Operations at KCA Deutag since June 2020. With over 40 years of platform drilling expertise, Ole oversees drilling and maintenance operations on 29 offshore platforms globally. In addition to this role, Ole holds board positions at Offshore Norge and serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at Turan Drilling and Engineering Company. Previously, Ole had a successful tenure at Odfjell Drilling from 2002 to May 2020, where roles included Executive Vice President of Platform Drilling and Regional Director for the UK. Ole's educational background includes studies at Horten Ingeniør Høyskole and continued education at BI Norwegian Business School and ITC.
