Maxim Olar

Maxim Olar has extensive experience in communications and public relations. Maxim has worked as the Director of Public Relations at Freedom Telecom Kazakhstan since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Corporate Communications at Kcell АО since September 2021. From June 2018 to October 2021, they were the Head of PR&SMM Business Unit at Roi Group. Before that, they worked as a Communications Specialist with a promotion to PR Director at ITECA from May 2017 to June 2018. Maxim also served as a Communications Specialist at the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund from October 2015 to May 2017 and at UNDP from October 2014 to October 2015. Their earliest role was as a Communication Specialist at The Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia from April 2012 to October 2014, where they implemented information support for various projects and managed content on internet platforms.

Maxim Olar completed their Bachelor's degree in International Journalism with a focus on Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP) from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "17 PR Mistakes to Avoid" from LinkedIn and "Verified International Academic Qualifications" from World Education Services, both in 2022.
