Kimberly Hurd

Kimberly Hurd, CPO, CAPS, has extensive experience in property management and operations. Kimberly currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Property Management at KCG Companies, where they oversee the operations and compliance of a property portfolio consisting of 16 LIHTC sites and an additional 11 sites in development.

Prior to their current role, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Sundance Property Management, LLC, where they successfully grew the company's portfolio from 4000 to 8000 units while navigating the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Kimberly also directly supervised a team of 9 Regional and District Managers across 7 states.

Kimberly'sexperience also includes serving as the Vice President of Operations at Intrepid Capital Investments, LLC, and the Sr. Director of Residential Services at Milhaus Management, where they led the expansion of the company's portfolio from 428 units to 6500 units across 7 states.

Before that, they held positions at Buckingham Management, LLC, including Director of Professional Development and Director of Marketing and Training. In these roles, they developed and implemented effective training and career development programs and oversaw marketing efforts for the company's portfolio of multi-family housing and commercial space.

Kimberly Hurd began their career as an Assistant Property Manager at Barrett & Stokely, where they gained valuable experience in property management.

Kimberly Hurd, CPO, CAPS has a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from Franklin College, obtained between 1990 and 1994. Kimberly also attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2010 to 2012, but the degree or field of study is not specified. Kimberly has obtained various certifications, including Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) from NAHMA - The National Affordable Housing Management Association in 2022, Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) from the National Apartment Association in 2016, Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) from the National Apartment Association in 2015, and National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) from the National Apartment Association in 2009. Additionally, they obtained CAPS certification from the National Apartment Association Education Institute in January 2016.
