William R. Roberts

William R. Roberts serves as the chief administrative officer at KCI. His responsibilities in this role include overseeing administrative practices, facilitating integration during acquisitions, participating in top-level decision making and further developing the organization.

Bill’s four-decade career spans across marketing, consumer affairs, operations, public policy and government relations. As former president and CEO of Verizon’s Mid-Atlantic region, he was responsible for overseeing all operations, including more than 15,000 employees throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. Bill has also been involved on numerous boards for organizations and institutions that focus their efforts on local impact.

Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing from Morgan State University and completed graduate studies in industrial engineering at Eastern Michigan University and marketing/management at Howard University. He also holds honorary doctorates in public service and humane letters from University of Maryland Global Campus and University of Maryland Eastern Shore, respectively. Bill was named the Loyola University Sellinger School of Business 2004 Business Leader of the Year and was inducted into the Maryland Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame in 2012.
