Danielle McCormick

Principal at K·Coe Isom

As a principal, Danielle serves as the functional leader for K·Coe People, the Human Resources external consultancy team. She provides the service and product development for K·Coe Isom customers needing organizational services. Danielle has a rich foundation in leading HR teams and providing culture and compliance solutions. Through her innate ability to identify and solve leadership issues, as well as provide succession, executive coaching, performance, talent, and recruitment guidance, she naturally leads these K·Coe People initiatives for clients.

If you ask Danielle McCormick about her role as a coach, she’ll quickly tell you that the origin of the word coach isn’t an athletic trainer. “Coach” comes from stagecoach – and her role is to give engaged employees and leaders across the USA a lift from where they are professionally to where they want to go. Most often, her coaching is within organizations that include service companies, manufacturing plants, and farm businesses.

As a leader of K·Coe Isom’s People Solutions team, Danielle and her team provide that “lift,” ultimately delivering the crucial “culture” angle of HR and business leadership effectiveness. Using a proven approach developed internally at K·Coe Isom, she and her team hit all the right notes identifying and solving underperforming leadership issues, morale and turnover problems, lack of clarity in direction and goals, and constructive feedback needs. Managing these elements of the employer/employee puzzle leads to huge peace of mind and opens the door to explore exciting new ways to encourage and develop talent.

To aid companies in taking that even more valuable step, Danielle leads company-wide initiatives and individual development programs that incorporate talent advisor sessions, leadership and executive coaching, and succession planning for businesses of all sizes. She brings more than a decade of experience in leadership training, culture development, and human resources consulting to her role, which she combines with an infectious passion for developing emerging leaders. Business owners and managers regularly see the impact of her counsel on their employee morale and performance as well as their customer satisfaction.

Stephen Covey says that trust is based on character and competence, and we can’t have one without the other. Danielle not only coaches her advisees and mentees to live this philosophy, she lives it herself – with the result that people powerfully embrace her honest, refreshingly candid outlook and challenges to improve. She pushes limits, helping companies and their people become successful inventors and trendsetters in everything from client service to professional development. She serves as a liaison between leadership and staff, working to find the balance between leadership expectations, individual level performance, and driving results.

In Danielle’s view, progress is always possible – for people, for teams, for leaders, for companies – and her unique ability is to help to bring that progress to life.
