Sam Riordan

Sam Riordan is a fundraising manager at KCPR. Prior to that, they were with Lumina Alliance, where they worked on writing original news and feature stories related to the Cal Poly community. Sam also collaborated with media managers to create and promote news content. From September 2020 to June 2021, Sam was a reporter at CP Mustang News, where they wrote original news and feature stories, including a cover story and five top weekly stories that accumulated 4,930 page views.

Sam Riordan has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Sam also has a High School Diploma from St. Ignatius College Preparatory.

Sam Riordan reports to Sheri Donahue, KCPR Marketing Director. A direct report to Sam Riordan is and Dante Erz - Assistant Fundraising Manager. They are on a team with Kailey Dodson - Events Coordinator, David Aronson - Venue Relations Manager, and Daisy Kuenstler - Social Media Specialist.
