Sharon Barto Gouran

Sharon Barto Gouran currently serves as the Major Gifts Officer at KCTS 9, Cascade Public Media since August 2017, focusing on stewarding and engaging members of the Leadership Circle, as well as developing strategies for the organization's operating fund. As an actor, Sharon has worked with TOPO SWOPE TALENT LLC and various studios since 2011, and has also been a yoga instructor since 2011. Previously, Sharon held positions including Major Gifts & Development Officer/Partnerships Director at Thriive, where a new Major Gifts program was created, and Major Gifts Officer at Seattle Repertory Theatre, managing a portfolio of 150 major donors. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English from Willamette University and a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training from Yogalife.
