Cristian Tibirna

Cristian Tibirna has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Cristian began their career in 1992 as a Researcher in Oenology at Academia Româna. After that, they worked as a Teacher at Universitatea Tehnica 'Gh. Asachi' din Iasi from 1993 to 1995. In 1996, they joined Universite Laval, where they held various positions, including Teacher and Research Professional, specializing in Finite Element Method, Inverse Problems, industrial software development, and parallel programming. During their time at Universite Laval, they also coached graduate students. In 2008, they briefly worked as an Instructor independently. In 2016, they joined Chemical Computing Group as a Research Team Leader and Senior Software Developer until 2021. Currently, they are a Research Scientist at Numerica Technologies Inc. since December 2021. Throughout their career, Cristian Tibirna has gained expertise in research, teaching, software development, and leadership roles.

Cristian Tibirna attended Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering. From 1995 to 1996, they pursued further education at Université Laval and completed a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
