We are seeking on a talented Sales Director to develop and ensure the attainment of new sales, revenue, and margin growth to contribute to the company’s bottom line and provide aggressive growth as we plan to seek venture capital and aggressively scale globally.

The Sales Director will manage the Enterprise, Commercial, SMB and PAYG (Pay as You Go) sales team; while providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. This role will establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the UK and Nordics, build sales playbooks and strategy, and develop training for the sales team. The successful candidate will have experience in the SaaS, data or cloud space, and have experience scaling an SMB or startup company.

What you'll do:

  • Formulate sales strategies to grow the business for net new accounts on all revenue streams including Enterprise, Commercial, Small and Medium Business, and PAYG.
  • Build high-performing sales team by hiring and retaining talent in defined roles, setting goals, delegating work, holding reports accountable and providing best support by a professional hands on leadership.
  • Demonstrate the Company’s values, maintain a positive open demeanour, encourage different points of view, move the team forward through change, provide timely information, communicate context for business decisions, recognize accomplishments, foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain account plans and detailed financial forecasts. Conduct accurate sales forecasts and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales plans such as industries and target sector strategies, hiring plans, territory management systems, and compensation plans.
  • Oversee and participate in programs that ensure the attainment of expense objectives and will recommend programs to control and correct budget overruns.
  • Own several key sales processes including opportunity and forecast management.
  • Support and develop initiatives across sales and the company primarily focused on sales productivity and efficiency.

The skills and experience you need to have:

  • 10 years of relevant job experience with similar essential duties, with 5+ years demonstrated sales management experience in a SaaS, data operations, or related environment.
  • The successful candidate will have experience scaling a startup or SMB company in a global environment; while working with customers SMB to Enterprise.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to our Headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic for brainstorming sessions, etc., and to visit customers upon need.
  • Strategic planning, sales in a consultative, long sales cycles environment, and contract negotiations skills required.
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities and ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
  • A track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals.
  • Success leading and managing sales teams.
  • Proven ability to hire, manage, mentor, and motivate successful, solution-oriented sales teams.
  • Strong record in developing and assigning geographic territories and customer/prospect modules.
  • Business operations, financial background or experience with venture capital is helpful.
  • Experience with insight selling is highly desirable.
