Sameer Desai

Sameer Desai has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Sameer started their career in 1996 as an Engineer in Procurement at Fisher Rosemount (India) Ltd. Sameer then worked at Tech Pacific India Ltd as Deputy Manager in Business Support, where they oversaw end-to-end supply chain operations for the IT Networking Business Vertical. In 2005, Sameer joined Bharti Televentures Ltd as Manager in Commercial, and later that year, they moved to Tata Teleservices as a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Management.

Sameer continued to climb the corporate ladder, holding positions such as Deputy General Manager in Procurement at Trimax IT Infrastructure & Services Ltd and Nelito Systems Ltd (a Tata Group Company). In 2015, they became the Head of IT & VAS Sourcing (SCM) at Tata Teleservices Ltd. Most recently, Sameer joined KEC International Ltd as the Head of Procurement for Smart Infra & IT.

Sameer Desai obtained their Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Sameer later pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management from the same university, which they completed from 1996 to 1998.
