Brian Welch

Brian Welch has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Brian is currently working as the Director of Information Technology - Infrastructure at Keck Medicine of USC. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Principal Cloud Solutions Architect at Hitachi Solutions America from 2020 to 2022. Brian also worked at Scripps Health as a Principal Architect and Enterprise Architect from 2015 to 2020. Brian has experience as a Senior Network Engineer at both City of Carlsbad and Valley Children's Hospital. Additionally, Brian has held positions as the Manager of Network Services at Clovis Unified School District and as a Senior Systems Engineer at McMillan Consulting. Brian began their career as a Network Administrator at Data Consultants Inc. Brian has a comprehensive skill set that includes infrastructure implementation, network administration, cloud solutions, and system architecture.

Brian Welch obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Cloud and Systems Administration from Western Governors University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they received an AA degree in Art from Fresno City College, where they studied from 1996 to 2010. Brian also studied Art/Art Studies, General at Fresno State, although the specific years are unknown. Additionally, Brian has obtained several certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate in 2023 and the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate in 2021. Brian has also acquired various other certifications related to IT and professional development.
