In August 2016, Tammy Capretta began working as a Teaching Assistant with the USC Trojan Marching Band. In this role, they recruited, trained, and managed the silks section, including coordinating the USC Silks in all halftime performances, working with the other Teaching Assistants to adjust section movements during shows, supervising their section during trips to away games, and coaching members during practices. The job required extensive teamwork among leadership to coordinate the 300-person band's movements on and off the field. One of Tammy's all-time favorite experiences was performing in the band's Star Wars show (linked below).
Tammy Capretta is currently Chief Transformation & Risk Officer at Keck Medicine of USC.
