Derrick Anderson

Derrick Anderson has a diverse work experience in the textile and manufacturing industries. Derrick started their career at Springs Global Inc in 1990, where they held various roles including internal audit, manufacturing, planning, master scheduling, merchandising, sourcing, and sales. Derrick spent the last 8 years at Springs Global as a senior merchandiser and sourcing professional, eventually becoming the Vice President of Bedding Merchandising.

In 2009, Derrick started their own business, Anderson Linens, Inc, where they provided consulting services in home textiles, specializing in sourcing, product development, merchandising, marketing, and sales. Derrick also worked as a Sales/Marketing Consultant at Nishat Chunian Limited during the same period.

In 2012, Derrick joined GSE Environmental as the Director of Global Sourcing & Procurement. In this role, they led the global commodity procurement and finished product sourcing for a large international Environmental Plastics manufacturer. Derrick implemented a new sourcing process for European and Asian markets and successfully negotiated cost reductions on key raw materials.

From 2016 to 2019, Derrick worked at Springs Global, U.S as the Director of Merchandising and later as the Senior Merchandise Manager. During their time there, they played a crucial role in managing merchandising operations.

In 2019, Derrick joined Keeco, LLC as the Vice President of Merchandising, where they oversaw the company's merchandising operations. In 2021, they were promoted to Vice President of Business Operations, further demonstrating their expertise and leadership in the field.

Derrick Anderson has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech, which they completed from 1988 to 1990. Derrick then pursued an MBA in Business at Winthrop University, completing it from 1992 to 1996.
